William’s Poetry

War is bad

When I’m in war, I’m afraid, I wait till the battle is done.

And when it is, we all march back one by one.

When I’m in war, I try not to retreat

I keep fighting till God comes back on his judgment seat

Be careful war is bad

Sometimes I suppose war is were I belong

I will fight well before I’m in my grave and gone

When I lose a battle I try again

For war is my friend

Be careful war is bad

When I was a kid long before

I thought war is the sport I’d truly adore

When I March into battle I see the drummers go

I fight to free slavery and learn what I need to know

Be careful war is Bad

When I’m in war I try to free slaves

I fight with courage and I’m not afraid

Be careful war is bad

When I’m in battles I don’t give up

And never stop fighting till the enemy has had enough

Be careful war is bad

War is bad

it makes me sad

I fight for happiness in my soul,

and I try to make a nation whole

Be careful war is bad

Now war has come to an end

and war is my friend

Be careful war is bad

Now I will remember war

Because of courage and wisdom

and that’s what the Memory is for

Remember war is my friend

Don’t forget that never again

Be careful war is bad

Sometimes I fight with a gun or a knife

But A little old battle can take a person’s life

Be careful war is bad

War flys through earth and air

war can be anywhere

Be careful war is bad

A child’s life

A child’s life changes every day

And that’s not all I need to say

Some people need lots of children and I’m not done

Some people only need one child only one

Children need a mom and a dad

If they don’t they’ll be sad

A child needs to look at the world and all the colors

A child needs lots of sisters and brothers

A child needs all the love they need to get

And that’s how it is set

To see the light

I wonder how it feels like to see the light

It must be very cool and very bright

I was born without any sight

I was born with no sight but I still don’t fight

I was born on October 6th with no sight

But I still wonder what it would be like to see the light

I wonder why

I wonder why Jesus came here to die

I like how he came for you and I

But when I ask the question why

Tears drop and I cry

And I will remember the day he came to die

For l will pray and look up in the sky

The Door Unopened

I long for the day when I will be able to get though the door

The door to heaven and have everlasting life forever more

I pray to the Lord for that day to come

So lots of believers go to heaven not just one

Well I’m waiting for the door to open up

I keep preaching till the world has had enough

Now I am waiting for the door to open

So we can have life
